Eden-Vale Performance Horses is really not a stud in the traditional sense.
It’s more an equine nursery!

Here in the beautiful Jamberoo Valley on the New South Wales south coast, in an area renown for its historic links to the Australian dairy industry, we are raising working American Quarter Horses, Australian Stock Horses and Standardbred Pacers. Our property of 35 acres is a purpose built horse Heaven, with year round improved pastures, and a mild coastal climate.

Our philosophy has always been the same.
“Only breed mares that are worthy of reproducing”.

With a handful of well-bred and performed mares we have produced progeny that have campaigned at elite level in cutting, reining and campdrafting.  They have won or placed in some prestigious National events including winning NRHA Reining Futurities, NCHA Snaffle Bit Cutting Futurities and many finals in drafts and Stockman’s Challenges across Queensland.

We’re different to many other breeders who predominately sell youngsters. Over the years we have started and campaigned most of our progeny with professional trainers in New South Wales and Queensland.

“We believe that spending money on professional training is your guarantee of the commitment we have to our breeding program!”

Breeding and racing harness horses is the other side to the coin at Eden-Vale.  With Sydney and New Zealand yearling sale successes, multiple race winners in New South Wales and Victoria including Bulli Harness Horse of the Year, Australasian 2 Year Old Filly of the Year, and runner up in the 2008 Australasian Oaks as highlights.

We look forward to watching our “babies” compete and continue to fulfill their destiny in both arenas.
